2013 Harbor Cup Tournament
June 2013 TBD
Our computer lab is almost finished, and we hope to have it available March 1. We are looking for volunteer instructors who can teach classes. We plan to offer various levels of instruction, and teachers may choose their class times.
We have many children and youth in the building after school. We are looking to have structured activity times at least two afternoons per week from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. This is a good project for youth leaders and mothers or retirees to share their time with the community. Please let us know if you would be willing to be considered as a volunteer.
THANK YOU FOR A GREAT YEAR
We joyfully report that 2012 was GO's BEST YEAR EVER! Thanks to generous supporters, several large gifts, and special designated grants, we are delighted to report that donations for 2012 set a record high!
While donations in 2012 were especially good, this year's donations have been a little slow in coming. Our gas and electric bills are always high in the wintertime, and your continued financial help is needed and appreciated right now. Thank you for your support!
SOUP KITCHEN DINING EXPANSIONConneaut Foundation awarded us a grant to open up two rooms for our soup kitchen dining area. That area is mostly complete and will be fully functioning soon. It will allow us to serve and seat clients in one large area. We also appreciate Conneaut Foundation for their financial donation to cover the cost of a much-needed food warmer.
